#2: Key Must-Have Item for Fall 2013

As a Fashion Merchandising Management student at FIT, I'm always studying and learning about different fashion trends throughout NYC and around the world. Some become classics, while others turn into fads. I'm going to practice my fashion forecasting skills and predict what next year's fall key item will be... I think everyone should have a Colorful Blazer for fall 2013! Blazers are a classic jacket that can literally go with any thing, every style, and they look great on both men and women! I love blazers because they're the most stylish and sophisticated looking jacket to wear in the fall weather. The great thing about blazers is that they were always, and will always, be in style! The only thing that changes as the years go by are the colors and patterns they come in. You can get them in any color, which is great! I prefer mine in bold colors, like red or royal blue. I love my colorful blazer, and it will definitely be a key item in my wardrobe for the fall season(s) to come!!
I wore a colorful blazer to Fashion Night Out last Thursday. I loved how much it stood out, and I'll definitely be wearing it again very soon!

  1. I am loving the colored blazer. I do agree that it is a perfect key item for Fall. It will keep you warm and isn't as heavy as a jacket.

  2. I loved your outfit for FNO! I agree as well, I think 2013's trends will consist of bold pieces and a red blazer is definitely bold. I think 2012's color blocking and bold colors will continue onto 2013 but I feel there might be some new added styles in 2013 that will continue to incorporate bold colors but might take some attention away from the boldness of the color.
